What made you choose dentistry?
I knew from a young age that I wanted to go into healthcare because it combined my love of science and helping people. What specifically drew me to Dentistry was that it not only combined these things, but also added an artistic component to healthcare.
What do you love most about being a dentist or what do you find the most rewarding?
I really enjoy seeing firsthand how my dental work can improve my patients’ lives. If I fix a broken tooth, I can see the joy it brings to my patient to restore their smile! If a patient has a toothache, I can see the immense relief I can bring them by treating the toothache, etc.
What’s your care/treatment philosophy?
My treatment philosophies can be summed up best by the phrases: “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” and “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” I enjoy working with my patients to create and maintain healthy and beautiful smiles.
Is there a particular area of dentistry you enjoy the most or like to focus on?
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry – from routine check-ups and small procedures like fillings, to large surgical procedures like extractions & bone grafts, root canals; cosmetic procedures and everything in between. I like helping my patients obtain a healthy smile.
