Professional Statement

I conducted research at the University of Texas Dental School for 6 years in many areas including evaluation of bruxism utilizing scanning electron and confocal microscopy.

I care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and am currently working toward Diplomat status with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, a certification for dentists who treat OSA with oral appliance therapy. I also collaborate with sleep physicians to identify the best treatment for each patient.

I was born and raised in Texas with family from the Mpls/St. Paul area and rural Minnesota. I have worked in public health for the U.S. Army and in private practice. I am continuing my education by taking photography courses at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where my interest runs towards abstract minimalism, in particular shooting orchids and small/macro images. I am an avid windsurfer and sailor and hope to try kite surfing in the future.

The dental care you deserve is waiting for you at a nearby Park Dental.

As a new patient there was no introduction or even a brief history. It was very rushed. He spent less than two minutes doing his exam complete with a fist bump to the shoulder, and asking, "Have we met before or are you new?"

Doctor was in and out quickly. Seemed nice and didn't have anything to say about concerns for my teeth.

It's my first time to this clinic and the hygienist and the doctor impresses me. I hope this continues to happen as this becomes my primary dental clinic.

Dr. Linder is a kind person and we shared a pleasant greeting upon his arrival. When I told him that I thought I had a cavity because I have a very specific place on the top of one of my bottom teeth that is super sensitive to hot and cold temperatures, it felt like he "poo-pooed" my concerns and said there are no cavities and actually the pain I feel on top of my tooth is from the side, not the top. Then the hygienist laughed and reminded me of my gum decay. FYI: I've had gum decay for 10-15 years and if you check my records, you'll see that I have consistently had healthy gums for a long time now. I would rather that he asked questions to find out more than give me answers (he offered a crown) and dismissing my tooth pain.

Excellent, I was relieved by the caring of the Doctor and his assistant as I was in extreme pain. The procedure took place very smoothly and with high precision and almost no pain for me. As this was my first appoointment with this doctor that is why I rated my confidence 4 but now I am rating it 5

I do not have any large issues or need much treatment so did not spend much time with the dentist (because he did not need to spend much time with me). The dental hygienist was AMAZING, very kind, explained all of the things she was doing and was very interested in making sure I was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend her.

It is hard to rate the doctor when I saw him for less than 5 minutes. I was very pleased with the x ray technician as well as the hygenist. They were both very thorough and knowledgeable. I am not displeased with the doctor, I just spent much less time with him than the others.

Our child was gone for less than ten minutes. I doubt a dentist even saw him and if they did, it wasn't mentioned to us. The dentist or hygienist should spend some time with the parents -- just a couple of minutes -- to discuss the patient.

I really enjoy Dr. Ryan Lindner...he is very friendly and understanding of my anxiousness about mouth pain. He skillfully administers the novacaine at a rate where no burning/pain takes place. Always asking if I am comfortable and very informative as to what he is doing at the time he is doing it.

Dr. Ryan Lindner and my hygienist were both fantastic! I had some questions about some things that came up with a vocal therapy I went through, and we had a great conversation. Dr. Lindner followed up on our conversation with his findings from some research he did later it the evening! I was honored he took the time to look into in and follow up with me. Phenomenal service and first experience for me at this office.

I was use to a Dr. on a normal visit taking a little more time to insure things are ok and considering I had just joined Park Dental, I thought that visit might be a little different then normal. I have schedule a 6 month appointment and was happy with the Hygienist, so things will be fine.
