Helping Create Better Communities
Since opening in 1972, we’ve always focused on the communities we serve. We’re committed to giving back through charitable contributions, volunteer work and philanthropic events. Our involvement in the following organizations demonstrates a small portion of our ongoing commitment to the overall health of our community:
Give Kids a Smile
Every February, during National Children’s Dental Health Month, Park Dental practices open their doors to provide free oral health services to underserved children. We have participated in Give Kids A Smile since it started in Minnesota in 2003. In just the last five years, we have:
- Provided dental cleanings, filling, sealants, and extractions for almost 2,000 children
- Donated over 300 hours of office time
- Donated over $850,000 in free dental services

American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk®
Park Dental is a proud sponsor and participant in the annual American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk®. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from heart disease and stroke. Since we began sponsoring the Heart Walk over 10 years ago, we have had over 1,600 walkers participate and helped raise over $175,000 dollars for this great cause.
American Diabetes Association®
Park Dental has proudly supported the American Diabetes Association® for over 10 years. Currently through their annual Tour de Cure and in the past at the Minneapolis expo which included health screenings, cooking demonstrations, information and resources that promoted diabetes management and prevention. Over the years we provided over 400 free oral cancer screenings to attendees.

Mission of Mercy
Every year Park Dental participates in Minnesota Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy. During the event, our doctors and team members help underserved populations of children and adults receive the dental treatments that they are otherwise unable to obtain. We have had over 175 doctors and team members volunteer. Minnesota’s Mission of Mercy dental program has provided 38,892 dental procedures worth $5,105,100 in donated dental services and treatment through 8,035 patient visits since it began in 2012.

We also strive to be a good neighbor in our communities, and each practice participates in ways that reflect this commitment. We enjoy connecting with our patients outside of the dental practice and meeting others in the community. Just a few of the ways we get involved include:
- Community events, parades and neighborhood festivals
- Employer-sponsored health fairs
- Local Chamber of Commerce memberships
- School Educational Events
- Mission Trips
