Get to Know Dr. Sean Laidig

In this installment of “Get to Know the Park Dental Doctors”, we’re introducing you to Dr. Sean Laidig from Park Dental Hugo! Dr. Laidig joined Park Dental in 2011 and strives to educate his patients about their oral health.  Enjoy learning about Dr. Laidig!

What made you choose dentistry?
I really enjoy working with people and fixing things.

What do you love most about being a dentist or what do you find the most rewarding?
Helping a person improve their oral health and creating beautiful smiles!

What’s your care/treatment philosophy?
My goal is to educate my patients very well about their current oral health so they can make their own best choices for dental care.

Is there a particular area of dentistry you enjoy the most or like to focus on?
I enjoy being a general dentist because I really like doing a variety of treatments: especially root canals, smile makeovers, complex reconstructions, TMJ issues, working with kids, and I do enjoy routine fillings and crowns.

When did you start or how many years have you been with Park Dental?
I began practicing with Park Dental in July 2011.

What is one thing you love most about Park Dental?
Park Dental’s commitment to excellence in continuing education for all team members ensures that we are always learning and staying current.

What do you enjoy most about being part of a group practice?

The ease of collaboration between other dentist in my office, in the group at large, and with our amazing specialists at The Dental Specialists!

  Farmer
• What was your very first job?
  Cashier/food runner at Famous Dave BBQ Restaurant.
• What are your hobbies?
  Nordic Skiing, Biking, Golf, Hockey, Building RC Airplanes
• What’s your favorite thing about living in Minnesota/Wisconsin?
  I love the 4 different seasons.

  Summer
• What’s your favorite color?
  Blue
• How many different states have you lived in?
  2 states (MN, CA) one other Country: Okinawa, Japan
