I enjoy the challenge of solving complex treatment problems and the opportunity they provide to continue my growth as a general dentist. I am excited for the future of dentistry with new technology that is coming out that will help to improve the patient experience. My approach to dentistry puts an emphasis on patient education and patient-centered care. I want to educate my patients on all aspects of their dental health and give them the information they need so they feel confident choosing treatments that best align with their treatment goals.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love trying new things whether it’s a new activity, new restaurant, or traveling somewhere for the first time. In the summer, I love to get out of the cities and experience lake country at my family cabin in Northern Minnesota. Finally, I enjoy keeping active playing sports as well as cheering on my Minnesota sports teams and my Wisconsin Badgers.

Dr Berg clearly explained the take aways from the hygenist and his examination, this time didn't have anything that needed to be done but did highlight a couple of things they are watching, and why, as well as what I can be doing to help the situation.

I appreciate how Dr Berg took time to talk to me about kid teeth. I've had adult teeth for decades, so I appreciated the time taken to explain what things were doing and what to expect coming next in their tooth timelines.

The dentist only made two comments: One, that they still recommended the deep cleaning/scaling (did not explain why); and two, that they would insist on taking x-rays at next appointment. He did not make any other comments about condition of my mouth/teeth.

Everything was excellent. The first time I saw him I had problems with my teeth and need 3 or 4 visits and every visit worked well. One day I had another appointment that was important and he let me come in early so I would be on time for that next appointment. He is a fantastic dentist.

Doctor Berg was incredible! He took a look at my mouth, and made a treatment plan- he made suggestions of what to start with and the best way to get to my end goal- I have had 4 cavities and a tooth extraction with Dr. Berg since my first appointment. He personally called to follow up after my extraction! I can not wait to continue to see Dr. Berg!!!

Did not feel appreciated or listened to. Rushed through proposed treatments without much explanation. Did not offer alternatives. I'm 13 weeks pregnant and have fears about certain procedures that were dismissed. Felt rushed to make additional appointment. On top of everything was not friendly or warm. Didn't even say goodbye when the appointment was over. Just left the room.

All other dentists I have gone to I felt more appreciated then just a patient or a number. Everyone does there job. I just didn't feel very welcomed. You can have chit chat but if your just saying the words I can read thru that and it just becomes words.

At first my confidence in Dr Berg was slim as he was new to the office and he is young. I have seen my regular Dentist ... for over 10 years and adore him but he was not available to take me in an emergency situation. My confidence in Dr. Berg increased as he had to admit he could not continue the root canal due to its complications with the broken tooth and referred me to a specialist outside the Park Dental offices who had more advanced scanning equipment to determine if the tooth was worth saving. He had a humble but confident spirit... which I respect. I continued to see Dr. Berg for the finishing process ... (crown) for that tooth and sadly for for me, a crown for the next 2 tooth. I brought in my old mouth guard that really needed adjusting due to all the dental work performed. Dr. Berg spent a long time getting it to fit just right!!! Now, hopefully, I can wear my mouth guard and protect my teeth from all the night grinding I do!!! Thank You Dr. Berg... hope it's a long while before you see me again!!

He didn't really explain the procedures he wanted done on my teeth. I wasn't sure if it was his responsibility or the dental hygienists responsibility to explain those things. The dental hygienists did after I asked a lot of questions.

I didn't find this dentist very personable. He did his job but did not seem very friendly. I left feeling less cared for than any other dentist office I've ever been to. He came to the front to speak to the receptionist after seeing me and I thought it was odd he did not say anything to me afterwards. A simple "Thanks for coming in" or "Have a nice rest of your day" is pretty standard for what I'm used to.
