I chose dentistry because I want to provide a positive experience for patients. Growing up, I always looked forward to visiting the dentist, thanks to the caring and friendly professionals who made the experience enjoyable and transformative. The care I received helped me feel more comfortable and confident, a feeling and quality I want to emulate with my patients. 

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, watching sports, and trying new restaurants. My hobbies include hiking, playing pickleball and golf.

I had Dr Lam for my root canal and I usually am terrified. The procedure was perfect and no pain. I had Dr Waterman for my mouth gard and she took great care in making sure it fit just right. The assistants were all personable and gracious. I've been with Park Dental Grand Ave for 10 yrs and was nervous about the change (I moved to IGH now). This clinic is top notch.

It was the dentist who did my cleaning. I mentioned I was concerned about a lump. She said she could feel it. Nothing further about what it was, if I should be concerned. I have areas on my gums Dr Laam is watching. Never took any gum measurements. After my cleaning, I had paste stuck in my teeth. When I told her, she said but I already flossed your teeth. She missed a few areas but gave me floss so I could work on it myself when I got home.
