I was first introduced to dentistry in school when taking career tests. Every year, “Dentist” was in the number one spot. As I treated patients, I indeed found dentistry as an ideal career for my skills and interests. More importantly, I discovered a passion for the sense of fulfillment from making a real difference in the lives of others.

Along with “Dentist”, “Film Director” was also commonly in the top results. This is appropriate because my wife and I are a huge fans of cinema. I also enjoy playing with our dog and challenging myself through games and puzzles.

He came in in the middle of my cleaning...picked around a little...did an oral cancer check and went back to the patient that was being numbed for a procedure. Having just had an extraction followed by an infection, it would have been nice to get some feedback....at least from my perspective.He's an excellent dentist and I would recommend him!! Hopefully the people skills come with more practice.

Dr. Bachmeier and everyone at Park Dental made me feel so welcome and comfortable when I had a checkup and cleaning. I was a little nervous about getting a flossing lecture, but I only got encouragement. Loved the pleasant professional vibe. I will certainly return and I might even floss more often. ;)

His technical skills are, and remain, outstanding!!! Interpersonal skills need some work, in my opinion. When I express a concern he needs to help me get to a solution and, "oh well" in not a solution.

The Dentist needs to provide better communication to the patient thru the entire process.The patient would like to have the communication offered by the Dentist.. My procedure was for a crown on a tooth In the back of mouth.The entire process was performed very awkwardly.I felt as If this was a new procedure for my Dentist.I didn't have a lot of confidence In my Dentist. Once the procedure was over, the Dentist walked out of the exam room with no further communication.Chair side manners are very Important.

Dr. Bachmier's technical skills were immediately obvious to me as I have had a lot of dental work done (yes I'm old) and his actions were deliberate, never rushed and continued until he was satisfied. I thanked him profusely for his expertise when administering novocain as this has always been the worst part of any procedure for me. I even considered a root canal without anything for pain.

They were obviously very busy and running behind. Dentist seemed rushed. First time meeting him. He was pleasant, but for a first time meeting, felt I didn't get to know him at all. And, I'm sure he didn't get to know me at all. That's fine. I'm looking for a dentist, not a friend.

My cleaning appointment was the first encounter with this dentist. He decided to remove/replace fillings in some of my teeth explaining that it was 'just in time'. The condition of these fillings had been in discussion with a previous dentist, so I wasn't too surprised. However, this dentist didn't explain things as we went along. He did a good job, but I wasn't apprised of what was going on as it happened. I think ongoing progress reports would benefit the experience. He & his assistant seemed to have a good rapport with one another.
