When I’m not at the clinic, you can find me outside, running, hiking, relaxing, and occasionally fishing or camping. I’ve run a half marathon and intend to do more. In my down time, I enjoy podcasts, stand-up comedy, and listening to music.

Having recently moved to Hugo, this was my first time at this office and with this doctor. Even though there were no dental issues, he spent more time in the room, and was more thorough and engaging than most dentists I've been going to.

Dentist and assistant barely spoke to each other. This was the second appointment for a two step procedure. I would have felt less pain and they would have been less frustrated with each other if they would have communicated better.

During my exam, the dentist poked my gums and it hurt. He didn't tell me beforehand that that could happen and didn't explain why he was doing it.

As a first time patient, I had an overwhelming list of work to be done. I needed a better explanation of what needed to be done 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. I did receive a printout grouping my treatments, but not a priority list.

He wasn't personable at all and seemed very rushed and uninterested. It was strange to see the dentist before the hygienist cleaned my teeth. I've been to multiple dentists and never had it done this way. They usually inspect my teeth a lot more and he only looked at them for maybe a minute.

Dr. Walek was very professional, knowledgable, kind, and considerate of my comfort level. I actually did not feel the nerve block injection. I am happy with the two fillings he did. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. My whole experience at Park Dental was great!

The hygienist was outstanding with her bedside manor. For someone with any type of dental anxiety, Dr. Wallek is not an appropriate provider to be seen with. He made me feel scolded for not scheduling wisdom tooth extraction and was very rough during the exam. He also kept saying different things to the assistant but did not circle back to me with what they meant. He was very unpersonal and again, not a good option for someone with any degree of dental fear.

The thoroughness of the exam and treatment is state of the art. I'm so impressed with the technology you guys use and so happy to be having my teeth cared for so in depth.
