I was very impressed with Dr. Hildebrand. I have pretty severe dental anxiety due to experiences with previous dentists. She was very kind and explained the treatment well. Checked in to make sure I was comfortable/not in pain throughout the procedure. And was very non-judgmental which is something I have not experienced with previous dentists. She is the first dentist I have had in the last 10 years that I would consider going back to again.

Dr. Hildebrand was PHENOMENAL. I have a lot of dental anxiety and I really appreciated her compassion, knowledge, and patience. She put me at ease before I even had a chance to tell her that I was nervous. She emphasized several times that she wanted my procedure to be a good experience for me, answered all of my questions, went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, and kept me updated on what she was doing and why throughout the procedure.

I like my doctor overall, but a few things I'd like to pass along. My overall health is never discussed with the doctor. Also, I work hard to have good, healthy teeth, and it would be nice if the doctor recognized this. Instead it's most often them telling me what's wrong, and it's often very nitpicky, like making sure I floss better in this one section of my mouth.

Dr Hildebrand patiently waited for the anesthesia to take effect, and appropriately administered gentle dosing. the explanation and general course of action clearly discussed were practical and appropriate. Sometimes people over-focus on how warm and friendly a dentist is. Certainly Dr. Hildebrand is warm and friendly, but really the key is how astute they are. Dr. Hildebrand took the time to help my daughter who was very nervous. She gave her something to distract herself while getting a shot, told her to raise her hand if she was uncomfortable, and talked to her nicely throughout the procedure. It helped a lot.

I feel so badly about my daughter's behaviour at this appointment and am in awe of how well both the dentist and hygienist handled it. My daughter has sensory and anxiety issues and basically flipped out about having her tooth pulled. The dentist spent over 45 minutes calming her down for the procedure. I am so sorry it took that much time but am so incredibly grateful for your talent, kindness, skill and patience.
