In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Madeline, son Ivan, and two Shetland sheepdogs. I enjoy hikes, visiting the North Shore, checking out neat restaurants and breweries, and board game nights with friends!

My appointment was to get a 2nd opinion, and boy am I glad I did! An excellent dentist does all of the above AND thinks/performs like an engineer or an architect. Dr. Vraa explained the drawbacks of a treatment that another dentist recommended for some cracks in my teeth: inlays/overlays. He described the structural and financial drawbacks. Having worked most of my life in the disk drive industry (HTI - our customers were Apple, Seagate, Western Digital, IBM, etc.) and later computers (Dell) with all types of engineers, I was impressed.

This was my first time meeting this dentist, he didnt introduce himself, wasn't very personable and just walked out of the room after my exam. no good bye, nice meeting you, nothing. Think it was rude. I will not be seeing him again.
