Welcome Dr. Kari Higdem
March 27, 2026Park Dental is thrilled to welcome Dr. Kari Higdem! Dr. Higdem is practicing at our Hermantown location.
Dr. Higdem received her Bachelor of Arts in 2009 from Columbia University in New York, New York. A decade later, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry.
“I chose dentistry because I get to help people improve their health and confidence. I love this work because of its hands-on practice and close collaboration with a team,” said Dr. Higdem. Dentistry is rewarding because the learning never stops. New technology and her continued learning constantly refine her clinical skills. What remains the same is her commitment to really listen to her patients and understand them as individuals.
Outside of the office, she spends time with her family and friends. Her and her husband, Evan, love to be outdoors with their kids, Lane and Elise. Whether it’s hiking, biking, swimming, hockey or skiing, they are all happiest when they are outside moving. Her other hobbies are reading fiction, doing crosswords (in pen!) and printmaking.
