Did you know that June 26th is National Toothbrush Day? To celebrate, we’re sharing some fun toothbrush facts! 

  1. The first toothbrushes were invented in China during the Tang Dynasty in 619-907.
  2. All the way back in 3000 B.C. the ancient Egyptians were known to use toothbrushes made from twigs and leaves to clean their teeth. 
  3. The first toothbrush that was mass produced was created by William Addis from England.
  4. The average person spends a total of 38.5 days brushing their teeth during their lifetime!
  5. A typical toothbrush contains around 2,500 bristles.

Don’t forget to celebrate National Toothbrush Day by brushing your teeth twice today for two minutes; morning and night!
