I was VERY afraid and scared to see a dentist. I had unbelievably bad and painful experiences as a kid. I have not gone to the dentist in years because I have extremely sensitive teeth. This week I went to see the dentist for the first time since forever. I could not ignore it anymore, so I went to Park dental, I was feeling super nervous. They explained each step of the process, and I got a couple of X-rays. Before my appointment I did not look for reviews of dentists or find a dentist that says they specialize in people who are reluctant to go to the dentist and get it done. I was just blessed with the best one. I am so happy with my experience. Doctor Florina and her team were the best. She was super kind and understanding the whole time. They sat down and talked to me very professionally and the entire process was exceptionally smooth and fast. I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled out and while it of course was stressful, it had to be done, and honestly, it was painless, and they were super nice. Thank you so much!

The hygienist had told me the name of the dentist who would be examining me. I didn't fully understand what her name was as it was multi-syllabic and not a common name. She came in and was pleasant. She had reviewed my record, did the exam and stated I should continue my hygiene regimen and watch my problematic area. Nothing to do at this time. That was the extent of my interaction with the dentist. If I saw her on the street today, I would have absolutely no idea who she was or her name. Very poor interaction.

Dr Ivanescu is very considerate and kind. Today felt especially rushed as compared to times I've seen her in the past though. I didn't get a chance to ask any questions or about things I was concerned about and she spent at most 5 minutes with me. I'm happy my teeth are in good condition and appreciate that the office is busy but it would've been nice to have had a little more time with her. I guess I just didn't feel particularly cared about.

Dr. Ivanescu is the most outstanding dentist. She has treated me every year since 2012, and she is definitely the best dentist I've had. Alll of her work has held up perfectly without any problems. Her techniques are the best, and with her work, I have never had any problems with my jaw being locked. I have sensitive nerves, and she has been outstanding in keeping me pain free during the procedures. Dr. Ivanescu is the best.

I have white coat syndrome - this was for a filling and she was patient with me deciding whether or not to numb area - had difficulty understanding her through mask and her accent but made it through fine.

Without having ever seen me before she was quick to tell me I needed 3 crowns. Didn't ask if me regular dentist was monitoring cracks or what she had recommended. Was rude when I asked her a question about it.

I won't ever see this dentist again. She didn't recommend anything so much as she told me what had to happen. This was my 2nd visit (last was 6 months previous) as a person who moved to the area. Her idea of consultation was to tell me I had fillings that needed to be replaced, and one was for a filling I received in late 2020. And cavities that surprised me because she didn't ask any questions, that I would have questioned because they weren't mentioned at my cleaning. So that was a complete surprise. So no, I won't be using this dentist again. And most likely, I will look for another Park Dental in the area.

I have had several procedures and each one was painful. This last one was extremely painful. In addition, she is not gentle when performing work or an exam. I think she is so very thorough, which I appreciate, but there is a person connected to the mouth she is working on and it is painful. The dentist is such a lovely person that I feel bad about sharing this information but maybe it will help in the future. I need pain free dental appointments and all have been painful. I have had pain free in the past with other dental facilities so this has been challenging. In addition, it seems like we go right to a crown versus suggesting alternatives. With this last appointment two more were suggested for a total of four this year.

Dr. Ivanescu is absolutely wonderful. She is thorough and clear in explanation, provides all options. She is the first and only dentist I have seen and trusted completely since a traumatic dental experience that put me in the hospital for two weeks in 2014. She is so competent, very kind and compassionate. I refer everyone looking for a DDS to her.

I used to have dental anxiety. Since coming to Park Dental, I my anxiety level has diminished. She makes me feel important rather than just another patient. I am always amazed that she remembers things we discussed during the prior appointment. I have recommended her and Park Dental to friends!

Dentist talked over what she saw with the person who cleaned my teeth. I asked her about the black or discolored tooth and she said it was a cap or crown that was discolored. They will monitor the tooth when I come In for my next appointment In Feb.

The dentist totally dismissed my concerns about the tooth she filled a year prior that was still giving me pain. She told me that I must be grinding my teeth (which I wasn't) because there was no way that there was issues with my actual filling.

Dr. E does a great job at caries at the gum line, previous dentists very poor. Dr. E works hard at her craft and the good results show. I am missing teeth and jaw and have a nasal to mouth communication, and She is able to adjust her methods for my situation. She is personable as well. Your scale does not go high enough.

Dr. Ivanescu Is the best dentist I've had throughout my life. She has performed many significant repairs In the last 7 years and has done an outstanding job each time. I am super pleased with her brilliant work, and most thankful for her work. Her assistant, is also outstanding. The temporary crown she made was a work of art, and looked like a perfect tooth. They both do an absolutely great job.

The dentist, Dr. I, was incredible! I am over the moon about how well she works and moves about while delivering care. I had a cavity in between my front two teeth and I was very concerned with how it would look when fixed. My smile is important. My Dr. assured me things would be done well since this is an important area. She did a great job and you can't even tell anything was done.

It took the dr. a long time to actually come into the room I was in. I spent that time in silence with the tech helping me. When she finally did reach my room she only spent a few minutes with me (I'd say no more than 10.) We discussed my problems and one of her solutions to my problem was very costly to me (over 600 dollars) I kind of felt that that suggestion was not genuine and a cash grab.

As I mentioned in the previous comment, she was 100 times less gentle with her tools than the dentist that I am used to. Her words to me were "no breathing through your mouth" or "no closing your mouth. " It seems like those simple words could be turned into a more positive statement that didn't make me feel like I was doing something wrong.

Dr. Ivanescu, in my opinion, is a "very caring perfectionist". By this I mean that she is a caring individual who shows concern for her patient and how they feel, that is foremost, but then takes the time to use her expertise to perform the best job she knows how because she cares about the way the job is done. I was absolutely impressed with how extensive this initial visit and exam was. And, although I had no pressing issues, X-rays did indicate items I should be paying attention too. Everyone was courteous and very thorough, explaining things and absolutely pleasant to deal with.

I had been to Park Dental for many years. We moved to the Mankato area in 2017. My husband and I started seeing a dentist here for the first two years. I chipped a tooth and needed a crown. Dr. Ivanescu has done three of my previous crowns. I called to get my 4th crown done by Dr. Ivanescu as she did a wonderful job on the earlier crowns. They were able to get me in and use the records from the Mankato dentist to schedule an appt for the crown without driving up for an exam first. Again, she did an excellent job preparing the crown and I will get the permanent one this week. Both my husband and I are going to take the time to drive to Burnsville for our continued dental care. Thank you!
