X-Rays

Lifelong Dental Health Below the Surface

Evaluating your dental health requires a complete look at your teeth, gums and mouth. While our dentists and staff are experts at oral health, not all problems are visible during your regular checkup. Thanks to modern technology, dental X-rays (radiographs) can help us detect oral problems that are hard to see or below the surface.

Regular dental X-rays are part of a standard preventive treatment plan and are typically covered by your insurance plan. Most of our patients receive bitewing X-rays once per year, and new patients often receive a panoramic X-ray to give us a full glimpse of your entire dental health. Your Park Dental dentist will recommend the right X-ray schedule for you depending on your dental history.

X-rays help our dentists discover oral health issues that aren't visible during an exam. Problems an X-ray might uncover include:

    Decay between teeth

    Cavities between teeth

Complications with new teeth that haven't erupted (such as wisdom teeth)

    Cysts and abscesses

Why do some doctors not have a star rating or comments?

In order to provide our patients with the most accurate and beneficial information, we only post star ratings and comments for a doctor once they have received a minimum of 30 surveys within the previous 12 months.
