TMJ, Sleep Apnea, Snoring & Bad Breath
The Facial Pain Center is a team of Park Dental dentists who work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists to evaluate, diagnose, and treat people with pain and dysfunction of the Temporomandibular Joints (TMJs) and other facial pain, including headaches, neck pain, ear pain, and neuropathic (nerve) pain of dental or non-dental origin.
We develop a comprehensive, integrated, and highly individualized treatment plan to address your
problem(s). This also includes teaching you important skills that help you long-term to maintain the improvement of your symptoms and pain.
Our practice is also devoted to the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Following your sleep evaluation, your physician may recommend a treatment plan that includes a dental appliance (mouthguard) to help manage your condition. We'll discuss your condition and create a customized mouthpiece that fits your individual needs based on the results of your sleep study.
Many adults and children suffer from bad breath (halitosis). Because it nearly always originates from the mouth, it can and should be diagnosed and treated professionally by dentists. Our dentists developed and currently use clinical protocol for diagnosing and treating chronic halitosis, which is highly effective, reliable and leads to long-term patient satisfaction.
Discuss any concerns you have about these issues with your dentist.
