I enjoy being part of a dental health care team that works collaboratively to meet the patient’s oral health care needs. I look forward to meeting and caring for patients of all ages in my dental practice. I choose the path of dentistry because it aligned with my focus on prevention and education to improve one’s health and to provide treatment in a patient-centered setting.

I have fallen in love with the “Twin Cities” area after living here for four years while attending dental school. I currently live in Saint Paul with my husband Joe. We enjoy traveling, running, sporting events, baseball games between the Twins and Yankees, and immersing ourselves in the culture the Twin Cities area has to offer.

I felt scolded. I felt as if I had disregarded advice from my first appointment. Everything was clothed in confusion to me. I was not really given a clear step-by-step plan. I had to sort of recount that back to the dentist. I felt as if I was being scolded because I had not adhered to initial advice, but my mind was scrambled by the information at the first visit. I sense a bit of disgust and quite a lack of bedside manner. I never complain but this last visit almost brought me to tears. During a requested phone follow-up I mentioned I was going through a very tough time currently in my life. It was not regarded. Usually, I receive more compassion from the medical and dental community. I am considering going back to my old dentist.

Dr. Sullivan was excellent! As I said previously, I had previously had the same dentist for literally my entire life, so It was comforting and helpful to have such a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional dentist as my first experience elsewhere. She definitely took the time to look at my teeth and noted/explained that there was a black stain on one of my right rear molars, which I had never previously known about (and she said we will watch that area). I appreciated that and her general assistance as a dentist! I slightly wished I could have had more time with her, but as my teeth/gums were in very good shape overall, there wasn't much for her to do/say! :)

Both are very friendly and professional, the reason why I'll always go to them and Park Dental. I've gone to dentists that try to sell me on crowns or fillings that I don't need. I never have gotten that here and trust Dr Sullivan and her hygienist!

My son was in to have a cavity filled. He was pretty anxious about it, but Dr. Sullivan and her Assistant did an amazing job of talking him through it. My only concern was when the doctor was working on my teeth located at the back of my mouth, she kept hitting my front teeth with the tool she was using. I was afraid she was going to knock them or perhaps break them with her tool.
