I care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and am currently working toward Diplomat status with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, a certification for dentists who treat OSA with oral appliance therapy. I also collaborate with sleep physicians to identify the best treatment for each patient.

Personal

I live in Rosemount with my wife, Jasmine and our four children Kayla, twins, Aubree and Madison, baby boy, Jaden and vizsla, Charlie. I’m being educated in the ways of princess, fashion, dance and Justin Bieber. However, I do take some time to hang with the boys and participate on an endurance car racing team in a series called Chump Car. Ask me about cars and we won’t have time to fix your teeth.

Dr. Ranvek explained options, particularly whether to use anesthesia for my procedure, which was a minor filling. We opted not to; it was the right decision. He also told me what he was doing at every step of the process. When it was completed, he asked if I had any more questions.

Seemed to be in a hurry even after coming in 20 minutes late. Barely asked any questions and seemed to be giving treatment advice to the hygienist. When I asked questions he seemed to be a little irritated and impatient. Walked away in a hurry

I have high dental anxiety, especially involving novacaine proceedures. Dr. Ranvek was extremely patient and kind, explaining everything as he went and always going at a pace I was comfortable with. He scheduled extra time into my appointments so that I could stop and take a break whenever I needed without feeling rushed.

The doctor, knowing I was pregnant, took extra care when removing my retainer. He took a long while to make sure no metal shards would make it into my digestive tract and possibly get to baby. It meant a lot to me.

My doctor was incredibly personable and spoke to me like I was an adult (meaning I asked questions and he didn't explain them like I was 5, nor did he explain them like I was an idiot). I was incredibly impressed with him.
