I was born in Denmark and I speak multiple languages fluently (Danish and German amongst others). My dental career began in 1989 as a dental hygienist followed immediately by dental school in North Carolina. I served as a dental officer for 6 years in the US Air Force, mostly in Germany.

My husband and I continue to enjoy raising our 2 children in Minnesota. We are active campers and especially enjoy exploring Minnesota along Lake Superior. My family and I are very active in the Danish-American community and we enjoy many of the cultural events offered in the Twin Cities. During my spare time, I enjoy many different creative projects. I thoroughly enjoy providing dental care to my patients. I greatly appreciate my patients’ trust, sharing, and personal interaction every day.

She the dentist was vary rude and disrespectful. I come to have my front tooth fixed and she looked at it and said I need caps, that are already have care planed to be done. And wasn't going to fix the tooth I told her I really needed something so it was broken she said I don't have time to do this or the right color but I guess I will. She put the fill in and walked away the tooth looks really bad and has holes in the filling. She has me In tears. I will never see her again. Vary terrible dentist.

Dentist lacked bedside manner. Rushed in and talked mostly about a cosmetic issue on my tooth that I've never been self conscious about or had any dentist discuss but she pointed out immediately and said I should take care of it. I did not care for her style.

Dr D is very good technically. She constantly is talking, mostly to the assistant. They are talking quickly and of personal things that I have no interest. The doctor then brings up something about my teeth in the next immediate sentence and I wasn't paying attention and now I need to respond - suggest she change her tone and speed when addressing the assistant vs the patient.

The dentist comes to the room for less than 5 minutes. She seems rushed and somewhat Impatient. She is a bit rough when she examines the general health. If It were not for the hygienist who works exclusively with this dentist, I would switch.

The dentist was not very personable, very short-timed, rude and not friendly. She made me feel so uncomfortable, I wanted to leave! I've seen other dentist at EP Park Dental and they have all been friendly and personable. I would not recommend seeing her again nor recommend anyone to see her. If I have to reschedule again, I would wait until my regular dentist is available. She acted like she was short on commission and had to make an X-ray quota!

I have seen Dr Dunford for about 10 years and she is the best. She remembers me and my family members and we have followed her to 3 Park Dental locations. She is very thorough in her explanations and gives you different options on how to approach any treatments that I need. I trust her expertise and really enjoy that she is real with her patients. She is always kind, thoughtful and makes me laugh each time I come in, which I appreciate, because I am nervous when I see the dentist.

She came in and felt like she was in a hurry, she's very sweet but felt rushed. She said I had a cavity and said we would look into it further and didn't really say anything about it after that. She also said I needed a night guard and this was the first I have heard of that and the problem. It's 600 dollars to get one and I don't know if it's a serious issue or what but I don't have hundreds of dollars to be spending on a minor issue that's never been mentioned to me before.

When explaining what she feels is needed to be done it would help if she actually showed me (with pictures, or on screen) what the problem was and why the proposed service was needed at the time frame suggested. Instead of just referring to this or that numbered tooth and that it was 'needed'. She is very good at explaining everything else and is very efficient and impressive when carrying out the actual work though.

The doctor checked in with me and heard my concerns before the exam started and that was the last interaction she initiated with me. She spoke to the hygienist as she was examining me - They were referring to issues in my mouth in dental language and never informed me of what the concerns were... The two of them were talking between themselves about me - It was as though I was not even in the room. I was told that I would need to schedule 6 "units" for repair. I had no idea what needed to be repaired. The doctor left the room and I had to call her back to review her findings with me and request that she help me with the questions I had before the exam started. She was so rushed, I am still not clear on the sequence of the plan. I also feel like the doctor and hygienist were having discussion about my gums between themselves and I missed all of that because I don't know dental terms - This was the most impersonal medical experience I have ever had. Absolutely terrible. I will be looking for a new dental practice.

This is not like Dr. Dunsford in the past! I felt dismissed and disrespected. She and the hygenist talked about me in front of me as though i were not there and i had to ask to be included in what was found during my teeth cleaning. There were things prescribed to be done and it was noted on the chart and i was not included. Then she was ready to walk out until i asked to know what was being charted. I am not happy about this appointment. My teeth/gums are in very good shape and i am conservative in just doing things that are expensive .

Dr. addressed her concerns with me lying on my back while 8 months pregnant and was accommodating. She made me feel comfortable to ask for breaks to sit up and she suggested I could rest on my side if needed too.

My husband took the kids to the dentist. The Dr was very attentive and also made the kids feel comfortable. She shared her childhood story about snowball fights which the kids listened to her attentively and then i heard the fun story later in the evening. Seems like even my husband enjoyed the interaction. :)
